Rocky Miller
is our Senior Pastor
Rocky is a native Floridian from Sarasota with the Bay Shore congregation as his home church. He is married to Diane (Steckley) and they have 3 children, Melissa, Kevin and Erin. Rocky graduated from Eastern Mennonite (College) University in 1979 with a Bachelor’s degree in Bible. He was on the Pastoral Staff at the West Clinton Mennonite Church in Wauseon, Ohio as a Youth Minister and Senior Pastor from 1981 to 1987.
He served as a half-time Associate Pastor from 2000 – 2004 and then was called as the Lead Pastor at Bay Shore from 2005 to the present. Prior to his pastoral staff positions at Bay Shore, he served as President of Miller Brothers Contractors, Inc and he currently continues in that capacity on a marginal time basis. He has served as Moderator of the Southeast Mennonite Conference, as a member of the Mennonite Church General Board/Conference Leadership Committee of the Mennonite Church USA and currently Chairs the MDS (Mennonite Disaster Service) Bi-National Board.
Rocky enjoys flying and is a volunteer pilot for Agape Flights in the Sarasota area which serves missionaries in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.

Dave Barkema
is our Youth Pastor
Dave has lived in Sarasota for 9 years. He came here with his wife, Gina, and three children, Zach, Mike and Kristi. They came from Honolulu Hawaii where Dave and Gina served with Youth with a Mission for 13 years.
Dave graduated from Columbia Evangelical Seminary with a Bachelor’s degree in Religious studies. Dave is an ordained minister with the Southeast Mennonite Conference. Dave has been on staff since 2000. Dave’s heart is mission work and to see people excited about a relationship with Jesus.

Lee Miller
is our Administrative Pastor.
Lee works full-time as Administrative Pastor which includes the secretarial duties of compiling the weekly bulletin. He gives leadership as chair of Program Council and serves on the Administrative Committee, Worship Committee, and Gift Discernment Committee.
Lee is married to Vina, and they have three children - Megan is married to Brad Mullett and they live here. Dionne is a sportscaster in Columbus, Ohio and Brock a songwriter/musician lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Megan and Brad have blessed Lee and Vina with four grandchildren, Riley, Tyler, and twins Kayte and Karyssa Mullett. Lee enjoys singing, reading and watching his favorite sports teams.

Charity Lambright
is our Education / Children's Pastor
Charity grew up in Virginia and after graduating from Eastern Mennonite High School in 1983, moved to Sarasota with her parents. Charity felt led to attend Bay Shore where she became a member of the MYF / Singles group. In 1986, Charity married Wayne Lambright from Shipshewana, Indiana. They have two children, Brigitta and Emmanuel.
Charity was brought on as Minister of Christian Education at Bay Shore in 2005 after serving in many different capacities of children’s ministry, teaching, committee work and drama over the years. Her duties as Minister of Christian Education still include all of those things.
Charity’s hobbies include collecting antiques, decorating, herbs and healthy living and vacationing in Colorado.

Jerry & Cheryl Stutzman
are our Splecial Care Pastors
Jerry and Cheryl Stutzman became members of Bay Shore after moving from Northern Indiana 6 years ago. Jerry began blessing Bay Shore with his piano playing immediately. Soon they became involved in visitation and special care for the seniors and stepped into the pastoral staff position of Special Care Coordinators in October of 2006. Jerry is primarily involved in teaching and leading Bible studies and some visitation while Cheryl does home, nursing home and hospital visitation. Their service reaches all ages with an emphasis on seniors. Jerry said, “What we are doing as Special Care Coordinators is what we have been doing for years. The Lord brought us to Bay Shore knowing we would be called to serve.”
Although the job is part-time the Stutzman’s zeal is full-time.

 Deanne Kauffman
is our Church Custodian
Deanne joined our staff in 2003 and works part-time.
Deanne and husband Duane and son Dillon have been attending Bay Shore for a number of years.

 Stacy Kimbrough
is our Church Custodian
Stacy joined our staff in April of 2006 and works part-time. Her duties include opening and closing the facility, setting up for special events, and minor maintenance.
Stacy and her husband Reed and son Steven have been attending Bay Shore for several years. She enjoys singing, playing the piano, writing music, art, and fishing.

Dan Miller
is our Church Treasurer
Dan and his family came to Bay Shore in 1985. With his computer experience and bookkeeping knowledge he was tapped for the job of Treasurer in 1987. He has held that position 20+ years.
Dan, Sue and his 3 boys came from Northern Indiana to Sarasota looking for a new career. He has since purchased and now operates a printing shop where he does printing, typesetting & ad design along with 2 of his 3 sons.
Dan is also the webmaster for this website and others too.
